Rilakkuma

I made this to give my niece, 8-years old cute girl as a gift. She loves RILAKKUMA, a fancy character. He is very chic and does not smile brightly to anyone. :)
I picked this among many images searched in internet because, i think, it is very cute and the most simple to make chart, in addition.

Pattern Information

Finishing Instructions
To begin you will prepare a strap or libon. I made it as twisted with three threads.

Before darning stitching the pieces together, finger press along backstitched line.

Darning stitch all the way around until 2~3cm remain.
Carefully stuff your Rilakkuma using regular craft filling or fiberfill. Just before last 2~3 cm are stitched closed you can check the fullness of your Rilakkuma and readjust the stuffing.

Memories... Dal-Deongyi Story (추억.. 달덩이 이야기)

This is my first cushion for my new home after marriage. I crafted it over ten years ago, on 2002 :) Above photo was taken at that time.

Following was taken Nov.2013.
Although four tassels had been cut and disappeared about for 12 years, stitching is still beautiful. :)

Chat tile is "추억.. 달덩이이야기". It can be translated to "Memories... Big face couple story".  "달덩이(Dal-Deongyi)" means the big and bright face in Korea. "Dal" is Moon and "Deongyi" is lump, mass and so on.

Unfortunately, "실그린", the chart company went out of business several years ago. So I'm sorry it can not get the chart now anymore.

Sunflower Study with Blue and White

I stitched it on Sept. 2003. It's the special work for me because my first experience of 2 over 2 stitch. Before then, I only did 1 over 1 with 14-count aida :)

The fall of 2003, I had a very busy and stressful core, very important and complicated IT delivery project. Only stitching made me happy. I did it every evening until sleeping. It's another reason why it's special for me :)

It is now hanging on kitchen wall.

Gazebo and Stone Bridge

It's my first scenery work, actually the last one.  I begun stitching it while having a relationship with my boyfriend, current my husband, and completed it  after marriage. Totally one year and six month. Although, that days, I had over-time work every day,

The part of sky.
I used 1 white strand of floss and 1 strands of Glissen Glosss 000 bright white Rainbow blending thread. That's why, some cloud glitters as the sunlight shines.

The part of stream.
I used 1 strand of floss and 2 strands of Glissen Glosss 000 bright white Rainbow blending thread. I remember It was too difficult and my fingers were very painful. ^^;;;;

Although the corner of frame was a little bit broken because of several times moving for 10 years, it is now hanging on living room corridor wall. :)
